Tencel TM originated from an innovative production process whereby the production is much less environmentally damaging. The chemicals chemicals used are less harmful and are used almost 100% in a closed system, creating a win-win effect for the environment and resulting in a beautiful sustainable rug. We recommend using tencel as a free-laying rug and not placing any furniture (such as cupboards, dining tables and chairs) on top of it to prevent prints in the rug. With light pressure, the prints can be rubbed away by hand.
